1. When you see a blank screen, press the Enter (NEXT) key
to obtain the Network Main Menu.
2. Use the arrow key to move the selector to NovaNET.
Press Enter (NEXT).
3. On the next display page, type the name of your NovaNET
group by Group: pc101 and press Enter (NEXT).
4. Type your NovaNET name (small letters) by Name: > last name
(space) first initial and press Enter (NEXT) again.
5. Next, type your password by Password >. As you type, you
will see only a line. If you have typed it correctly
(as entered originally), you may continue by pressing the
Enter (NEXT) key. Pressing Enter (NEXT) will take you to
your work on NovaNET or will give you the message that
your password is wrong. If you made a mistake, just
press Enter (NEXT) and try it again.
6. Follow the directions on each display to either choose
a lesson to study or to continue through a lesson that
has already been started. If all else fails, press the
Enter (NEXT) key to continue -OR- ask the Monitor on
duty for assistance.
7. To change lessons, SHIFT-STOP (while holding down the SHIFT
key, press the STOP key) from the lesson you are doing.
8. To sign off the terminal when you are ready to leave,
SHIFT-STOP twice.
