			QUIZZES

Quizzes will be given (see syllabus) in class.  The quizzes 
will be based upon material covered in class and the learning 
objectives handout. Each quiz will be worth 20 points and the 
following grade scale applies:

		Grade			Points

		  A			18 - 20
		  B			16 - 17
		  C			14 - 15
		  D			12 - 13
		  F			Less than 12

		 	HOUR EXAMS

There will be three hour exams during the semester.  
Material covered and time of each exam is given in 
your syllabus.  Questions will be based on the learning 
objectives, class material, assigned readings and problem sets.

	Quizzes (9)			25%
	Hour Exams (3)			75%
	TOTAL			       100%
						    

In general, a score of 89.5% or better on any written material 
will be considered an A.  Similarly, 79.5% and above is a B, 
69.5% is a C, and 59.5% is required for a D.

			CONFLICT POLICY

If you have a serious and valid conflict, call in advance and 
as soon as possible to arrange to complete the work.  (If you 
are unable to reach me, leave a message on PhoneMail.)  
There will be no make-up quizzes.
