What’s New for Us?

The OTA program is located in the H building at the Parkland College on Mattis facility. Our beautiful classroom and laboratory/clinical rooms provide state-of-the-art, hands-on learning experiences for better transition into clinical practice!


Each semester, the OTA Program presents community workshops to help persons with activity limitations maintain an active lifestyle. Look for the Independence Center Education Series in Parkland's Business Training and Community Education catalog. OTA students engage in numerous community outreach and service learning programs.


Accreditation Status

The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) awarded the OTA Program with a ten-year certification status for demonstrating substantial compliance with the 2006 Standards for Education of Occupational Therapy Assistants.
