The 2001 IAS Annual Business Meeting is planned for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, at the Comfort Inn & Suites in downtown Aurora, Illinois.

The Annual Public Workshop in Illinois Archaeology will be held on Saturday, December 1st at Aurora University. 

The Saturday morning invited paper session will address the theme “Illinois Archaeology – Taking Stock in a New Millenium.”  Papers will be presented in the University Banquet Hall in the lower level of Alumni Hall.  Coffee & pastries will be served. Lunch is on your own. 

On Saturday afternoon, an informal workshop will take place in Dunham Hall featuring artifact and informational displays from notable northern Illinois sites.  The Schingoethe Center for Native American Cultures will also be opened to workshop attendees.
