Paper One Brainstorming Questions

In 5-7 sentences for each question, answer the following.  Remember that the more you write now, the more you'll have when the time comes to write your paper.

1. What aspect of your identity are you exploring for this paper?  Explain it a bit.

2. At what stage in your life did that identity first develop? How did it develop? Is it different now than it was then?

3. Name at least one other aspect of your identity that it complements (works well with). How and why?

4. Name at least one other aspect of your identity that it conflicts with. How and why?

5. Name at least two benefits to that identity.  Explain them.

6. Name at least two drawbacks to that identity.  Explain them.

7. Name two things you wish people knew about that identity. Explain them.
